About Jeff BerlinJeff Berlin is a legend of the electric bass. Simply put, he is considered by many to be the finest electric bass soloist in the world. In the 1970s, he gained worldwide recognition as one of America's foremost electric bass players. Alongside of Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clarke and Alphonso Johnson, Jeff is known as a major innovator through his incisive playing through recordings and performances for the last twenty years.

He has jammed with the super-stars of jazz and rock, from Pat Metheny, Van Halen, Rush, pianist Bill Evans, Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clarke, and was even asked to do a television show with pop singer Donnie Osmond. Jeff Berlin is a master.
He has performed throughout the world at all the major jazz festivals. He has appeared at clinics throughout the world, and has been featured in Bass Player Magazine, Downbeat, Musician, International, Modern Drummer, Chitarre, and a host of others. The owner and president of >>> Dean Guitars was such a fan that he offered to build Jeff a model bass that is now being sold world-wide, called simply, the >>> "Jeff Berlin" Bass by Dean. His numerous recording credits include albums with Bill Bruford, Yes, Allan Holdsworth, Kazumi Watanabe, George Benson, Patty Austin, plus a host of different style record dates. He has appeared on many television and radio shows worldwide. He has put out two highly acclaimed records, “Champion, Pump It!” and the amazing “Taking Notes.”
His CD, “In Harmony's Way” is a Masterpiece. Featuring guitarist Mike Stern, vibraphonist Gary Burton, pianist Richard Drexler, drummer Danny Gottlieb and saxophonist Dave Liebman, this new release is simply breathtaking. On this CD, Jeff's playing has reached new heights of expression and sheer technical virtuosity.
